Wholesale and distribution software in Nigeria

One stock list, many buyers, and every balance in its place.

A wholesaler serves walk-in buyers, regular trade customers and customers who pay later, often from the same stock. TruKonta keeps sales, stock and customer balances together, and its Business plan adds wholesale, bulk and customer-specific prices.

The everyday problem

Bulk trading gets lost in separate books

A distributor sells the same product to several customers, some on credit, some by the carton and some by the piece, while suppliers wait to be paid. When each of these lives in a different book, nobody can say quickly who bought what or who still owes money.

TruKonta puts the stock, the sales and each customer's balance in one record, so a credit sale is never mistaken for money collected.

An illustrative example

Example: the same carton, two prices

A made-up business, to show how it works. Not a customer story.

A household-goods wholesaler sells cartons to market traders at a trade price and single pieces to passing shoppers at the shelf price. Both sales come out of the same stock. On Business, the trade price is set once for that type of customer, or for one customer, so the counter does not have to remember it.

A regular buyer pays part of an invoice now and the rest next week, and the balance stays on their account until it is paid: see customer credit tracking. Wholesalers with more than one outlet can read about managing more than one branch.

What you can do

One app for the whole job.

Cartons and pieces

From Starter, sell one product by the carton or by the piece, with stock kept in pieces underneath.

Customer accounts and credit

Sell on credit on every paid plan and see each customer's balance. From Starter, print or share a customer statement.

Buying from suppliers

From Starter, keep your suppliers, record purchases and send stock orders. Growth adds supplier books: what you owe, paying bills and landed cost.

Wholesale pricing on Business

Wholesale prices, bulk discounts and customer-specific prices, plus goods out on sale-or-return.

How it works

An illustrative wholesale order

An example of the everyday routine. What you see depends on your plan.

  1. Set up what you stock

Add products with their cartons and pieces, costs and prices.

  2. Choose the customer

Link the sale to the customer so repeat orders and balances have a home.

  3. Price the order

On Business, use the customer's wholesale or agreed price; on other plans, your standard selling price.

  4. Record what was paid

Record the payment received now. Anything unpaid stays on the customer's balance.

  5. Restock and pay suppliers

Check what is low and send a stock order to the supplier. On Growth, keep track of what you owe them.

Good to know

Wholesale management is not fleet management

This covers stock, customers, sales and buying. TruKonta does not plan delivery routes, track vehicles or dispatch couriers.

Who it helps

Who this is for

Wholesalers, distributors and trading businesses selling in bulk to shops and other businesses, with customers who buy on credit. If agreed prices per customer are central to how you sell, you need the Business plan.

Good to know

Questions, answered plainly.

Can I set different prices for different customers?

Yes, on Business: wholesale prices, bulk discounts and prices for a particular customer. They are not part of Lite, Starter or Growth.

Can I see which customers owe me?

Yes. Every paid plan has a credit book with each customer's balance. Starter adds customer statements, and Growth adds who owes you and for how long.

Can I record what I owe suppliers?

From Starter you keep your suppliers, record purchases and send stock orders. Growth adds supplier books: what you owe each supplier, paying bills and landed cost.

Can I give goods on sale-or-return?

Yes, on Business. Goods out on sale-or-return are tracked until they are sold or come back.

Does TruKonta plan delivery routes?

No. TruKonta covers stock, customers, sales and buying, not vehicles or deliveries.
